The project locates in İzmit, known as Nicomedia in antiquity, is a district and the capital town of Kocaeli province, Turkey. It is located at the Gulf of İzmit in the Sea of Marmara, about 100 km (62 mi) east of Istanbul, on the northwestern part of Anatolia. The project design is formed by functionality and social areas. The project , which will be students' home consists of different programatic typologies which are 'studio, 1x1, 1x1 loft, 2x2, 3x2, 4x1 and 4x2 loft units'. It's aimed to fulfill students' needs in Kocaeli. It also includes resting,entertainment, shopping, cultural activity areas whic are use as common places. In the project design building efficieny is also taken into consideration. The building facade patterning is outcome based, driven by the efficiency of building systems and functions behind it.
